How to submit a good help request.
It's important to include a few key bits of information so that we can quickly help you.
The
most important item is the organization that you're working with. Dime
Giving is a multi-tenant application. Like a building with many tenants,
Dime Giving has many organizations that "rent space". You might have
access to one or more of those organizations. It's helpful for your
support team to know which organization you need help with. Often this
helps us to get to the bottom of your issue or question quickly.
Remember to include:
- Your name and email.
- Organization name.
- The web address where you had the question or issue.
- Whether your request is a question, a problem, or a feature request.
- The specific steps that you took when you had the issue.
- The severity of the issue (for example, is this keeping you from being able to do your job?)
- Screenshots of the issue, if possible. (How to take a screenshot.)
